Unfortunately, the big tree on the right has been killed by the dreaded Mountain Pine Beetle, which has devastated so much of the forests throughout BC. It will have to be chopped down. Too bad.

These photos were taken only 2 1/2 days apart. When spring finally arrives around here, it does so with gusto!

In two days! That's pretty cool! Lucky that you had a 'before' photo!
I've picked several favourite spots around the place and every few days I go stand in each of them and take a picture. I've been doing it for over a year now and it's fun to scan through them to see the changing seasons. Unfortunately, one of them I couldn't get to with all the snow. It would have been pretty.
