Xena needs her own pad

We've given her one of the bathrooms as a bedroom, and for the most part it's been working OK. Every so often, though, when she's feeling bored ... or just plain bratty ... she gets to chewing.

She's big enough now that no coyote would try to tangle with her and she does seem to prefer the cooler temperature of outside, so maybe it's time to give her a doghouse. I just don't know. I think I'd still worry about her.

Maybe next summer a doghouse would be a good place for her to spend nights. Cleo's an outside dog now and likes the cooler temps too. Before you invest in some stupid doggie bed--heated or not--give her some old blanket or carpet ends. Cleo wants nothing on her floor and dragged it all out when I put it in her house. Phew, saved myself a bundle there.

Moosh = total inside dog. She would be so mad if we even thought about leaving her outside like a wild animal. Clearly your doggies are tougher than Moosh. Wow, Cleo is hard core outdoor dog! Maybe you could put a doghouse on the porch?
